Stony with red brown soil that drains well with underlying Oxfordian limestone and marl, results in delicate persistent wines with beautiful faint structure. “Here too there is a mentholated top note to the slightly jammy nose of black cherry and raspberry. The slightly bigger and richer medium-bodied flavors possess a slightly finer mid-palate texture as well as more refined tannins on the nicely persistent finale.
