The heather is a shrub with large flowers in winter and spring that is very attractive to bees. Heather honey has a dark colour, a characteristic aroma and a very strong taste. It is a tonic, has a high nutritional value and beneficial properties. The crystallisation of the honey is a natural phenomenon which can be restored by placing the package in hot water up to 50 °C.
