Tenuta Sant'Anna Altitude: 30-40 m asl Breeding method: Double Inverted Breeding Planting density: 5,000 plants per hectare Refinement: On the lees for 3 months Vintage: 2023 Analytical data: Alcohol 12.5% vol - Total acidity 5.6 g/l Longevity: 24/30 months Land: The terroir is a moderately deep loamy-clayey and alkaline soil, typical and characteristic of the Veneto plain. It rests on a very ancient layer -a paleosol- called 'caranto'. The climate is generally temperate and humid thanks to the proximity of the sea, but there are strong temperature excursions due to the alternation of cool (Bora) and hot-humid (Scirocco) winds. Vinification: The grapes are harvested at night or at first light, when the cool temperature helps to keep the primary aromas of the fruit intact. Cold macerated, the grapes undergo soft pressing and the must obtained undergoes alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks. The wine then remains on the lees for about 3 months before bottling. Tasting: It is straw yellow in colour with greenish highlights. The nose immediately reveals notes of wild flowers, grass and fresh fruit. Fresh in the mouth, savoury, mineral, it closes with an almondy finish. Combinations: As an aperitif, fish and white meat dishes.
