The texture is sandy and the pebbles ('graves' in French) guarantee a high temperature range between day and night that enhances the aromas, fragrances and elegance of the grapes. The temperate climate is favourably affected by the presence of the Friulian Dolomites, which provide shelter from the cold northern winds and facilitate the mitigating effect of the Adriatic Sea to the south. Vinification: Harvesting at the beginning of September and soft pressing are followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 15-16° C. Maturation takes place on the lees for at least 3 months. Tasting: It is straw yellow in colour with green highlights. The nose releases intense notes of citrus, pink grapefruit, sage, tomato leaf and tropical fruit. On the palate it is fresh, taut, pleasant in its aromatic persuasiveness and expressiveness. Combinations: Excellent as an aperitif and for light hors d'oeuvres, it goes well with vegetable first courses such as risotto with radicchio, with cheeses such as Piave or light main courses.
